HSA LMS — Mobile-First Wireframes (Low-Fidelity)

Grayscale, structural layout only — no visual design decisions made yet. Covers all 5 roles from the concept note's user-role matrix: Student, Teacher, Academic Coordinator, LMS Administrator, Management. Each includes Home plus that role's core "class" flow — attendance-taking, batch detail, or batch creation. Purpose is to validate information hierarchy and navigation before your team builds in Figma. Desktop is a secondary, later-priority surface.

1Today's Class card is the hero on Home
Since physical class is the center of the model, the top of Home is always "what's happening today," not a generic dashboard summary.
2Practice screen is literally Before/During/After
This is the concept note's core pedagogical model (Section 2), made structural rather than just a label. Students always know which bucket a task belongs to, and Before tasks feed directly into what the teacher sees pre-class.
3During is intentionally near-empty
Per the concept note, During is teacher-driven (projector, QR scan) — the student's phone has almost nothing to do here. Resisting the urge to fill this tab with content is itself a design decision.
4The 70% remediation rule shown inline in After
Concept note: if a student misses the 70% proficiency gate, supportive modules unlock automatically. This is a different gate from the 80% attendance gate — shown separately so the two never get confused.
5Six anchors, not four
Concept note's curriculum table has 7 anchors (Reading, Listening, Writing, Speaking, Vocabulary, Grammar, Communication). Communication (Workshop/peer review) is shown as a task in After rather than a %, since it's peer-graded, not auto-scored.

Submit attendance
1"Next class" card leads, with two actions
Start attendance and review diagnostics are the two things a teacher does in the 5 minutes before walking into the classroom — both one tap from Home.
2Diagnostics surfaced as a specific weak point
Not just a percentage — the system names the actual weak grammar/vocab point (per the concept note's "customize the lecture on the fly" goal), so the teacher can act on it immediately.
3At-risk list on Home, not buried in Reports
Given how central "intervention" is across every doc, this needs to be a glanceable Home item, not a report a teacher has to go dig for.
4Grading queue shows a count
Badge-style count (like an inbox) so pending grading never silently piles up.
5Attendance defaults to Present, exceptions only
For a 20+ student roster, tapping 20 "Present" buttons is friction the concept note never asks for. Default everyone Present; teacher only taps the students who were Late/Excused/Absent. Matches the weighted scoring (2/1/1/0) defined in the SRS and cheatsheet exactly.
6At-risk flag shown right on the roster
A teacher marking attendance is a natural moment to notice a repeat absentee — surfacing the flag here, not just on a separate report, closes the loop faster.

1Three top-line numbers, not a wall of stats
Students / batches / at-risk count. Everything else is one tap deeper — mobile screens punish dense stat grids.
2Level performance uses the same bar pattern as skills
Same visual language as the student's skill bars — reinforces "one data layer, different views" rather than each role feeling like a separate app.
3Batch list flags status in plain words
"Good" / "Needs review" rather than raw numbers only — coordinator scans fast, drills in only where flagged.
4CRM funnel uses the exact 4 stages from the concept note
Enquiry/Counselling → Admission Completed → Batch Allocated → Orientation — same stage names as the source document, each tied to its documented system outcome (account provisioning, cohort assignment, attendance privileges).
5Orientation is a real gate, not a formality
Per the concept note, Orientation completion unlocks physical class attendance privileges — worth a status of its own here rather than folding it into "Batch Allocated."
6Session history shows "Not held" as a real state
Physical classes get cancelled (holidays, teacher leave). The system needs a distinct state from "0 attendance" so a cancelled day never wrongly drags down a student's %.

Creating this batch auto-generates a cohort. Students move here when Coordinators set their CRM lead to "Batch Allocated."
Create batch
1System status leads, not a stats dump
One glance answer: is everything fine right now. Backup success and uptime are the two things an admin checks first thing in the morning.
2"Create batch" is the direct replacement for Moodle Cohort + Course-group setup
In the Moodle version this was two separate admin actions (create cohort, create course group, sync them). Custom-built, it collapses to one form and one action.
3Form explains the downstream effect
The dashed note ties batch creation back to the CRM funnel from the concept note, so an admin unfamiliar with the pipeline still understands what happens next.

1High-level only — deliberately not a coordinator dashboard
Concept note treats Management as an oversight role, not an operational one. No batch-by-batch drill-down here — that's the Coordinator's job. Management sees trend and outcome, not process.
2Pipeline funnel matches the CRM → CEFR progression exactly
New students → A1 → A2 → B1 → B2/Completion, with conversion % between each — this is the same underlying data as the Coordinator's CRM funnel, just rolled up to programme level. One data layer, different views.
3KPI table mirrors actual target-setting language
Current vs. Target framing lets Management set and track goals directly in the tool, not in a separate spreadsheet.
4Financial data explicitly scoped out for now
Flagged rather than hidden silently — so it's clear this is a deliberate scope decision your team can revisit, not an oversight.
